About us
Queensland's hospital system, like many across the nation and round the world, is facing greater demand and pressure than ever before. This is driven by our growing and ageing population, and compounded by pressures on primary, aged and disability care. To help address this, the Health and Capital Division (HCD), in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS), is leading the biggest hospital expansion program Queensland has ever seen. This includes building three new hospitals, expanding 11, upgrading rural and regional health facilities and delivering thousands of new hospital beds over the next decade.
The division is responsible for delivering the end-to-end capital infrastructure process, like planning, business cases, construction, and capital maintenance programs. Working for HCD allows you to deliver projects that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders - what could be more rewarding than that?
